Dua For Fasting

In Islam, there are several supplications (duas) associated with fasting. Here are some common ones: Dua For Fasting

Dua For Breaking The Fast (Iftar):

اللهمَّ لك صُمْتُ وبك آمنتُ وعلى رزقك أفطرتُ
“Allahumma inni laka sumtu wa bika amantu wa ‘ala rizq-ika aftartu.”
Translation: “O Allah! I fasted for You, and I believe in You, and I break my fast with Your sustenance.”

Dua When Starting The Fast (Suhoor):

وَبِصَوْمِ غَدٍ نَّوَيْتُ مِنْ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ
“Wa bisawmi ghadinn nawaiytu min shahri Ramadan.”
Translation: “I intend to keep the fast tomorrow for the month of Ramadan.”

General Dua For Fasting:

اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ رِزْقًا طَيِّبًا وَعِلْمًا نَافِعًا وَعَمَلًا مُتَقَبَّلًا
“Allahumma inni as’aluka rizqan tayyiban wa ‘ilman nafi’an wa ‘amalan mutaqabbalan.”
Translation: “O Allah, I ask You for good provision, beneficial knowledge, and deeds that are accepted.”

These are some of the commonly recited duas related to fasting in Islam. They are recited to express gratitude, seek blessings, and ask for guidance during the fasting period.
